About this project

Short Rib Ragu?! Who am I right now, making SHORT RIBS?

My spouse and I are a pillowy-gnocchi-loving-pasta-eater. Carbs 100% shape my life, and my current carbs wanted brief rib ragu.

Were you aware that brief rib ragu is so good, end of history, but also not the end of the story because it just takes pasta to a whole nother level? Saucy, tangy, and so tender and luscious all at the same time? This was a new discovery for me.

While a less-savvy meat oven ( <- this is who you're dealing with), I was a little afraid of making brief rib ragu. But then I remembered the way we got this at our supper club all those yrs ago, and I remembered how good it was with our tiny pillows of homemade gnocchi, and then I got brave with it because of a) Fast Pot, and b) food motivation.

So that's exactly what is happening today - brief ribs, shortcut, Quick Pot, RAGU!

Starting with the short ribs. We are going to starting with the bond function on the Fast Pot to get a nice browning on the short ribs.

LEARNING TO MAKE THE SHORT RIB RAGU

Ok, then something magical happens.

You have all the browned bits on the underside of the pan, right? Which means you throw some onions and garlic in, and you begin working those browned bits off into your sauce. Oh my gosh, YES.

Did We already speak about magic?

Discover more magic.

A dash of red wine draws your entire browned bits, sauteed onions, garlic, and seasonings into something so good that it should be illegal.

Now the secret part. Add your short ribs back in with a jar of your selected tomato sauce (we typically use DeLallo at home because of TRUE FLAVOR without ADDED SUGARS).

And now the moment Pot gets to work.

1 hour later? This is what is near your face.

You are your own favorite person right now for making this happen.

Quick Pot Short Rib Ragu, guys. It's a little shortcut-y, a little weeknight-friendly, and mega delicious food recipes.

Set this on anything - rice, potatoes, polenta, pappardelle or penne, maybe some baked rigatoni? But also, prepare because there is a homemade gnocchi guide coming soon, and My spouse and I say, those little dumplings from heaven are kind of my favorite.
