Brook Woolf, Chicago native was trained in many avenues of art from an early age. At the age of 16 she had studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the American University in Paris. Graduate of Chicago Academy for the Arts Highschool she later went on studying art in California at California College of the Arts. This is where she trained in teaching through a program called ArtEsteem and learned nonprofit management alongside her art career. In 2006, she graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts and came back to Chicago to study Waldorf Teacher Training.
In 2008, Rumble Arts was founded by Brook Woolf. She became responsible for project planning, management and implementation of after-school services across a network of seventeen elementary schools in Chicago. Managing a $240K annual budget and overseeing fundraising, financial forecasting, hiring, payroll and all areas of finance and budget. Overseeing the community partnerships for all programming which includes: Illinois Arts Council, C4: Community Counseling Center of Chicago, Service-Learning Programs, West Side Writing Project, Mofindu African Drum and Dance Company, Service Learning Programs in Media-Arts and the Living Newspaper.
Now at 28 years of age Brook decided to take her art and healing to a different more holistic and personal space. As a Thai body-worker, leader in meditations and ceremonies, yogini lifestyle she was able to create a line of clothing embracing love and compassion. Allowing herself to be a close witness to transformation and breakthroughs she now has the dream to help others facilitate this alongside her.
